premise.

The year is 2015 and everything has gone to Hell in a handbasket. Back in 2012 that whole "oh god, the world is ending" totally happened. Maybe not with as much doom and destruction as those Mayan people predicted, but it still sucks pretty hard. Overnight, America (and the rest of the world) was thrown into the dark ages. Ever since, we've been trying to catch up to what we used to be.

No one knows exactly what caused it. After all, there are a lot of culprits. Enhanced humans, the Hellmouth, and heck, even terrorists have all had the finger of blame and shame pointed at them. Who knows and really... who cares? He said, she said, they said doesn't really matter anymore. What matters is trying to survive in this brave new world.

Aberrant World is a post-Apocalyptic, AU multi-fandom game that combines the worlds of a handful of fandoms and thrusts characters into an environment were the world is trying to rebuild and the average joe is trying to survive. We accept canon characters from a variety of television shows/books as well as original characters.

rules, etc.

» RP Etiquette. Know it, follow it, don't be a douche.

» Activity. You must have at least two forms of activity every month; one of which must be some sort of thread or log. You are responsible for keeping up with your own activity. Removals will be done on the last day of every month.

» Characters. Each player is allowed no more than five characters, and you're only allowed two characters per fandom - one major and either one minor or one original. Don't play characters who interact regularly with one another.

» Canon. Yes, this is an AU game. Yes, the timelines are little different than what they are in canon. That said, you are still obligated to hold to your character's canon personality.

» Journals. Your journal can be some version of your character's name or they can be descriptive. Avoid unnecessary xs, numbers, and underscores.

» Played-Bys. A PB can be used once per fandom, including canon usage. This means if a PB is used by a canon character in that fandom, you cannot have an OC with the same PB. The only exception to this rule is when a PB is used for more than one canon character (ie; Elena and Katherine, Alec and Ben, Tracy, Nikki, and Barbara, etc). You must use canon appropriate icons of your PB (ex, icons of Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester when you're playing Dean Winchester). If you're playing an original character, your character's age must be within five years of your PB's actual age.
